We have found that local treatment of fractures or fusion in rats and dogs with critical key trace elements can significantly accelerate bone healing. These exciting findings, explored in Cre Osso , will make paradigm shift, in patient care. Based upon our work on bone healing using rat segmental defect model, femur fracture model and larger animal models, our developments provides unique potential products to address major bone healing clinical concern., Historically, FDA has placed zinc as GRAS (generally regarded as safe.
